oday was kinda slow compared to the break-neck speeds I have been running of late.  Frankly I am tired. It started last night and I failed to start the woodstove in the greenhouse as I went to sleep too early, no one else thought about it and I lost a couple tomatoes I think. I am mad at myself. 

Went and did a couple errands with Mary today, got dog food. Talked to the hatchery where we got our turkeys from.. we shall see what they tell me. Returned my solar powerbox, as the readout was not working and they gave me a new one. This one's readout.. reads!! I have been running a compact fluorescent bulb in my side table lamp for many hours now. Other than a little bit of a hum of a fan, it is rather nice. Tomorrow I may put up brackets for the large solar panel and get it off the ground.

Yesterday afternoon Amy brought her Angora goat "Gus" over to get sheared. Last year her hand shears went duller than a butter knife and he was not done correctly. He looks much better this year!!

It is amazing, but we discovered that "Gus" really does have eyes and ears!
And alot whiter!! As his horns were so sharp, I tipped them and trimmed his feet. He must be about 20 pounds lighter (Hehehehe).

I am taking the evening off tonight. Curling up with a hot water bottle as I am cold and 2 lovely cats and watching a movie or two.

Tomorrow I am back at it. The guy with the backhoe is coming to dig the trenches from the new well, to the pump house and up to the cabin. My guy got pipe and wiring for putting into the ditch. Soon we will be hooked up to our new well.
