hank you to everyone who has sent in your re-subscriptions, it really helps me get a count on how many to print for the next issue. I got a whole bunch today.

It poured last night.. well actually it started to have one of the biggest loudest thunderstorms at about 4am and it continued for an hour. Then the hails and rain continued for the rest of the day. My plan for tomorrow is to pull all the peas and then take off the pods to shell and then feed the remains to the livestock. The onions may also get pulled tomorrow and dried on the front porch before the freezes come. I have at least 400-500 onions, so that may be interesting getting in the front door. But it is the best place to dry onions I have found.

Autumn is here. The trees are starting to turn gold. Fog greets me in the mornings from the fields when I do the morning chores. The geese are starting to flock up and maybe be heading south (they knew what direction they were facing, I didn't). I don't think I am ready for it to be Fall yet.
