December 1, 2007

t warmed up a bit more last night and then suddenly the thermometer dropped. But the real cold is supposed to come soon. I saw a small herd of deer yesterday and the spike buck is whom I looked at the most, but all of them looked really 'fluffy' from the cold. They politely stood at the side of the road while they waited for me to drive by. I thought about taking a picture about a millisecond too late. These particular deer see alot of traffic each day and know how to deal with the moving cars. I am working with a new camera, and I had wanted to compare this one to my old one to see what it would do for close-ups.

When I woke up at 6 am it was -20C/-4F. It is still not bad to walk on the front porch in my bare feet and my PJ's to get some firewood early in the morning.

I am still trying to get my binding equipment back so I can send those of you who ordered recently your magazines. I have not forgotten about you. The Winter 2005 issue is VERY popular and it is often out of stock, so I had to print up more.
