hursday we got some more nice emails from people who just got the magazine for the first time.

"Hello there:

Wow, on Tuesday.... I received  2 of the DTTR magazines..... I read them right away.... boy, you sure put a lot of info into each.. Then today... I received 4 more....wow.... I have spent most of the afternoon reading them all.  I just want to thank you for all the hard work, and all the inspiring articles.... I really think that my favorite is the winter 2005 .... I can see myself referring to this many, many times.   I can see why these issues are out of print at times!!!! How would I get the summer 2005 pdf one??? I hope that things are going okay with Daisy...I grew up on a grape farm, that included a couple of cows, a horse, some pigs, ducks and numerous cats, and a dog.. Well, hope that the blizzard didn't hit you too hard.. - Lynn"

I did a bit of surfing on the internet yesterday and came across a couple good homesteading sites. One such site is "Just Plain Good Living". Ken seems like a very good sort. One of his articles on "A bit on Family Farming" I enjoyed very much. It is listed under Serious Articles. And make sure to check out his photo section.. me of course bypasses the house and things and goes directly to the barn and garden *L* A chandelier? *hehehe*

Got "Daisy" on her feet twice today. The first time it was my fault and I made her trip. Got her up again. She now sees us coming with the tractor and sling and you can see her look happy and say "oh Boy!!" My "FIL" who grew up with Jersey Milk cows, thinks she is the craziest cow he has ever seen.  She is too perky to be sick.

Today I made it to town.. so my appologies... but the cow came first this week. I even got some sleep last night. But that mass of mail which took 2 trips out to the truck  is now mailed!!! (and I have my table back!).
