got the new shopping
cart up since PayPal was not working for about 4 days. It was timing
everyone out in 10 seconds. We have no idea what was wrong, we are guessing it
was at PayPal's end, but it is fixed now as the new shopping cart is up. It
still takes PayPal, but in a different way. I rather like the new look of it. So

Other news of the weird. We have two radio stations in this town. In the trucks we can get them when we are driving, but in the house we can't, and never have been able to in 18 months. On the clock radio in the bedroom the other day, my guy dialed in the nicest clearest radio station and we could not figure out what it was. This morning it identified itself as a Seattle, Washington radio station. WHAT??? We cannot get local stations for anything, but we are getting a radio station from 15-18 hours away? Through alot of mountains? Very strange.
The cats are being rather snuggly this morning as I am typing this. I have a cat on each shoulder (I type from an overstuffed chair). I let the fire go out so I can clean ash out of it and evidently they are a wee bit cold. :o)
Day 14 of the "Daisy" report. We are still stumped and frustrated over her. She still cannot get up on her own until the tractor has her 12-18 inches in the air and then she lunges to her feet. But once she is up, she does all the normal cow things. She even ventured out to the driveway sometime in the late afternoon as she left her mark there. She does not even look close to calving. I have no one to help me get her up this morning, but we will get her up this afternoon and with the weekend we can keep her up all day long if we have to. I hope she calves soon. That will either remedy the issue or we have to do her in. But at least if the calf is born I can hand rear it.
