o school buses running today. Too much snow on the road yet. My boyfriend and the radio was saying we have not had this much snow in one dump for many a year. The logging trucks are not running as it is too dangerous up in the mountains. His truck does not want to start today and he is outside now trying to coax it into turning over. He is heading to his uncle's to get more skookum jumper cables. I was supposed to work on my dog boxes, but I am stuck here today.

When he gets the logging truck going, his job for the day is to use the bucket on the tractor to move more snow and stack it, as his dad has no where else to push snow with the snowplow. None of the roads have been done yet. The guys went on the snow mobiles last night, the fresh sugary powder enticing them and.. Whomp! They had to hand dig themselves out of the ditch which was about 5 feet of powder and they were at the bottom of it.

I have not yet set any chores for myself today. I am tired and not sure I don't have Amy's cold. But I did stay up way too late last night.  I suppose I could take a day off.
