ll
the issues of "Down to the Roots" magazine are getting low again as we
are getting alot of the back copies ordered. My local outlets are also almost
sold out already, so I cannot steal some of them back. Tuesday or thereabouts I
will try to run more off.. if not that day, it will be the following Monday. I
think we will not run out if you decide to order this week, but it may be close.
If you order and we are out, no worries, we will get them to you pronto. It is
exciting how fast they are flying out the door anymore. It takes a few hours to
print them and then more hours to hand collimate, hand fold, hand staple and
hand trim each one, so if I am doing many issues at a time, .. well it takes
awhile..
After the dog event is done and over with, I will do several hundred of each issue to stockpile for a bit. Update: As of this afternoon I am out of Autumn 2006 and I will need to print more up.
I ran the dogs this
morning and took 2 newspaper reporters on a 6 mile run and tonight after dark I
am hoping to do a 20 miler as I have 5 snowmobilers going to pack trail for me.
And with more snows coming
I
need to take advantage of the tight trails.
Both my Christmas presents were given to me after Christmas, but well worth the tardiness.. These are my custom made Mukluks made by a native woman that my almost-parents-in-law had made for me. They are so I can run the dogs in the snow and ice. They have leather bottoms so I can run on the glare ice and not slip. They are almost too beautiful to wear outside!! They are made from moosehide, sheepskin insides and all handbeaded and yarn (?) decorated. It took the woman almost 2 months to get them done. They are like wearing clouds and I did not want to take them off.
