am
working on getting PayPal back on the subscription page so bear with me. Rumour
is that PayPal is working great again so I am trying to remember how to
incorporate that back into the website so you can just click and not have to
email me and then me email you. It is just alot simpler and there is no missed
emails if I can get it to work again. If you are trying to subscribe and it is
not working for you, please
let me know.
It is cloudier and cooler here today which is a nice break from these really hot days. It is good for the land too. It was getting too dry too quick and it was getting very dry in the woods, though it was great for the hay farmers. It ought to be a good hay year. We have not started to hay yet over at Mary's, and just in case we ordered 25 round bales from the guy we always buy our hay from, just in case. We can always sell it towards the end of the winter if we have a surplus.
Just
now the sleddogs were barking insanely. I popped outside to see if the bear was
back. I did see wildlife, but on a much smaller scale. It was a Snowshoe Hare in
its summer coat of brown hopping up our driveway. I have seen this hare many
times as it goes to the base of our hill, on the driveway up to the barns to
lick the ground. I grabbed a handful of loose cow salt/minerals and tossed it
down where it normally licks. It lives just in the bush on the other side of
this fencepost and I have been watching it since spring. From the tracks in the
snow in the wintertime, I know we must have hundreds of Snowshoe Hares here, but
I do not often see them in 'person'. Although you cannot see it well, he just
picked and is eating one of the flowers.
