oday is my guy's 40th birthday. Happy Birthday honey!! We butchered a turkey yesterday and we are having a dinner party for friends and family then a bonfire when it starts to get dark.. which is about 10 pm these days.

Before the party starts happening though, the morning chores and working on the rail fence for the barnyard. We have almost two sides completely done. It is about an acre all told. It will be nice to have all of it done so "Blossom" and the 4 goats can run around in there until the front pasture is done as well. After this gets done, we will fence the line between us and our neighbors and the driveway side.

I like looking for the little animals as well as the obvious ones. This bright yellow spider really caught my attention out on the milking stand as I was on my way back into the house.
