Top of the morning to ye...Are you wearing of the green today? I'm not. I just tossed on the clothes I could find in the dark. With 2 boys in the house, it may be a wise idea to wear some green today however.
"Joey" the kitten woke me up at the normal time of 6 am. He has gotten really good at sitting on my pillow and banging my nose with his paw three times to wake me up. This has been going on for a couple weeks now. It is mildly better than "Watson" sticking his nose in my ear and purring loudly.
"Break Up" is officially on now and my guy will sleep for a week. To bring in "Break Up", which kinda sorta brings in the beginning of the Spring melts... we get 9-12 inches of snow. It was a wet soggy snow and sheets of it fell off the roof. I always like hearing the snow crashing as it is still a novelty for me, but it does make me jump if I am not expecting it. It can get rather loud.
My darn neck is still hurting. At the moment it is not painful like a knitting needle stuck into you, but more uncomfortable, like a golf ball sized pressure spot under my skin, just below my left ear.
Last night I finally got to try out a recipe I have been wanting to make. While me and my family watched "The Horse Whisperer" on the telly last night, I baked Beer-Rye bread. Due to the lack of humidity, I had to go to a full can of beer over 1 1/4 cups and I dumped the remainder in cold (a no-no), but it came out wonderful. I even finally got to blenderize and use those organic orange peels I had been saving and drying for awhile.
Other than finishing up the magazine today to get printed on Monday or so, I have no idea what I am going to do today. I suspect it is going to be a lazy day. I think we all deserve one around here.
