I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that 90 of you will get "Down to the Roots" Spring issue in the mail early. The bad news is that the rest of you will probably get yours in the mail on the 23rd instead of the 22nd.
We were printing like crazy and I had a crew of 5 helping me yesterday. This is the largest run I have printed yet. We worked from 1 pm to 11 pm on them. We have hand collimated them, folded and stapled them and have about 180 or so left and I discovered that pages 8,9, 10,11 were actually 9,8, 11, 10, so we had to UN- staple all the magazines, sort them into page piles, and then print the new ones. I was crying the blues as I thought I did not have enough paper, but I thought I was going to make it and then the Waste Cartridge tank became full on the printer and it shut me down, so I cannot print even a wee business card. So I have all these magazines ready to go sans 2 pages. It was getting sick -your-stomach-and-throwing-up time. The smell of the press did not help matters at all either.
I know I jinxed myself as I thought to myself, that everything was running so smoothly on print day for once. I did not even say it out loud.
Today is a new day!!! And I will do what I can and not worry about the rest, it will get done. It is snowing today. Much like the blizzard going on yesterday with sideways blowing snow.

We are getting 2 more bales for the cows again today and that 2,200 pounds
should last us until the grass is growing. And our lone turkey hen has started
to lay an egg every day. We are collecting them and going to incubate them to
see if we get any baby turkeys. We probably have to AI her, since the Broad
Breasted turkeys have breeding issues. I just think the eggs are quite pretty.
Cream with a chocolate brown speckling all over them.
My boyfriend this morning finally decided how many pigs we are getting for the year and he will be calling the place we get them from this evening. We have been going around and around for weeks about how many pigs we can put into our pig pen and still give them adequate room to stay healthy. But we were getting down to the wire for ordering.
Mary moves up to her farm on our road in about 18 days. Woo Hoo!
