here is alot of snow coming down!! It started this morning as far as I could tell in the early morning light. The calf and the milk goat started to stand under a bit of trees when it first started. I got my anvil out of the snow and it was frozen to its stump. I also got all the hoses and stored them away so they can be found again before Spring.

The sled dogs as normal, shunned their dog houses to lay in the snow. The colder and more snowy it is, the better they like it. I may have to bring my sled down into the cabin in the next few days to make a few small repairs to it. The outside freezer is cold enough to keep their meat in now.

By mid-afternoon, the snow was up to 6". By the time it stopped snowing about 5 pm, it was up to nearly 7-8" on my truck hood.

I didn't get anymore hog fence repairs done. They will be butchered in a few days anyway. Tomorrow I may butcher 15-30 chickens. I don't mind if there is snow on the ground or light snow.. just when it is chicken feather size and going up my nose and into my eyes.
