ess is missing. "Tess" is my main lead sled dog. She is an older dog, but in fine health. When my ex-bf was here yesterday to drop off 2 bales of hay,  he said "Tess" was on the front porch, he gave her a piece of meat and when he left she was back on the front porch. When I got home from work, she is just not here. She has been allowed to run loose for the last 5 months as she is about 12 years old and she stays with the other dogs. She never leaves the other dogs. She had the habit of chewing on her fur and tail, much like someone chews on their fingernails when they are nervous. So after she was allowed to run off a chain, she quit doing that, so she no longer has an embarrassing looking 'rat tail'.

She is a little thing, alot of the lead dogs do tend to be little females. She is about 42# or so. I think she has a green collar. Not only is she special as she is such a sweet dog as well as a good lead dog, but she is one of the dogs that Holger gave to me. She has been gone about 16 hours. In 6 years of working with sled dogs, this is the only one to go AWOL on me.
