cout"
was found last night!! Alive and well, although very scared. I am so very
grateful. Thank you all who are local residents and looking out for him, and for
those of you afar who sent their hopes and prayers of the dogs being found.
Finding one is better than finding none, but I wish it was both.
It snowed 5" yesterday. But it was the nice kind of snow, so I can drive in and out of my driveway and did not have to shovel it yet. I cleaned out my woodstove this morning before 7 am. I let it go out last night, so it was cool, but not cold when I woke up this morning at 6. I brought 3 days worth of wood down to the house last night. The pumphouse is doing its thing. The chickens are staying put, except for 3. The calf is growing, and "Crystal" is complaining about something as normal.
The full moon on the snow last night was wonderful. Those are the kind of nights you can run the dog team or walk the trails without a flashlight. It is that bright, with the moon reflecting off the snow.
It has been nice seeing people in the Live Chat room almost every night. While I am working on other things on the computer, I usually have that window open as well from 7-9 pm Pacific time. If you have a second, pop in and meet other like minded folk. If you don't see anyone, just hang out for a bit, someone usually shows up and there is usually 5 people in there at a time now.
