hanks to everyone who is sending me emails of well-wishing and is concerned. I am going to be OK. I have called to get the hogs butchered soon. This week I plan on butchering a bunch of chickens to pop into the freezer to cut down on the feed bill, as well as 9-11 turkeys. When I get my meat grinder here I think I will grind a bunch of the turkey into hamburger. I couldn't eat beef in the States and so that is all I had for 10+ years down there. I kinda miss it. It will also save space in the freezer.

This week I need to check the fenceline, so I can bring my horse home from Mary's house. I also need to check out the grass situation out back and see how it has grown since early summer. I have not been out there for a month. I can get one round bale into my truck at a time and I need to go grab one of those soon as the one here is getting skimpy.

It snowed late afternoon Saturday. I got all my stuff out of the infamous basement and into the cabin on Sunday. A feat managed by good friends and myself in the pouring rain. It is nice having a table in the house one can eat at again. I have not really had one in 4 years. It is also nice seeing my 4 harness floor loom again. Maybe this winter I will warp it up and work on it.
