hings
are getting back into a routine. A new routine, but one which is working out
well. It is weird to go back to learning how to cook for one again. I have to deliberately
make myself eat proper as every time I live alone, I kinda skimp on all the
proper food groups in each meal, although I do eventually get around to all of
them in a day. But the nice part is I can cook the kinds of foods I really enjoy
more and grew up with. Granted I did make a flourless chocolate cake and had 1/3
of that the other night. OK.. it is not as bad as it sounds, as it is only a
9" pie plate worth and I make it with chickpeas, so it is actually a
protein. Yes.. apparently if you put enough chocolate on legumes, I will eat
them. So shush Linda !!.. Hehehe
I
keep staring at my loom. I know I have warping thread lurking about somewhere.
Yes, that is "Watson" in the rocking chair.
It has snowed a bit and rained and hailed buckets. I almost can't wait until the ground freezes and makes all this mud non-existant. I have brought a bunch of firewood down to the house as when it is dry, I can get my truck up the small hill to the woodshed, but with the wet muddy clay, it is too slippery to get there.
I had a telephone interview yesterday with a lady in Victoria about dog sledding and British Columbia's 150 year Anniversary which our Mail Run event will kick off in 2008. I will post the article as soon as I can. The questions she asked were interesting and I hope it turns out into a nice article.
