April 15, 2008
had a few moments of free time at work yesterday where I can do research and I
found something that I thought was interesting. I sorta made a accidental side
trip on my web-surfing, but rather glad I did.
This is a environmental school. In 2003, it started with 6 students and this 2007-2008 school year, there is 60 students enrolled. I am not endorsing this college as I do not know alot about it, just wanted high school grads (or others) to know that there is facilities and places to attend like this around the world. This school is on a 272-acre campus located in Fairfield, Iowa, in the central USA. The campus community has students from more than 60 countries comprising many cultures and religions living and learning together.
It looks interesting and something to perhaps look into if you are thinking about a career in sustainable architecture.
