ay was delivered here yesterday. I was pretty certain a 1,000 pound round bale was not going to fit in my truck, although I have had 600 pound ones in it before. It took 3 of us, a rope tied to the bale and a post in the ground to get it out of the truck that delivered it. My hay is ordered already for next summer. I will be getting all of it at once at haying time instead of as needed. It is a pain to do it otherwise. This hay is sweet horse hay quality and has been stored in the barn all year. It is nice hay. No dust and no mildew.. something which is slightly difficult to find at this time of the year.

The older gentleman who delivered it was very nice, as well as his wife (?). And I do believe I made another set of friends. They will be coming for tea one day. I like talking to older ranchers/farmers.

Today and tomorrow is magazine stuff only. Now with a bit of rest, I have a brain to start writing again. I knew I was tired, but I did not realize how tired over the last several months.

I am having East Indian food for dinner tonight. Curry. Yummy!! I am not cooking it, so I cannot give you guys the recipe..... yet! I will have to see if I can fandangle the recipe out of Maggie and Tony.
