love how learning opportunities keep coming into my life. Recently I have had the offer of learning to make something new and I will be passing on my newfound knowledge onto you in some issue or another. I am pretty excited about this one. To me, it is so awesome learning to make something so needed and yet a luxury at the same time from natural materials. No, I am not telling yet! But it is right up there with when I learned how to build stone walls for a building.

Snow/rain mix today. It is coming down pretty hard. It has rained 3/4 of the time since Sunday morning, but today looks pretty serious and it is doubtful that I will see the sun today. I am pretty sure the 'April rains' were late last year too (and I am too lazy at the moment to look up my records), but the first of the thunderstorms happened late afternoon/evening last night, which is why I did not get to blog yesterday.

The chickens are still laying like crazy and I am glad I have a bunch of orders for eggs today as when a friend came over the other day, the comment was I needed a new fridge just for eggs.
