n the hunt for my wallet. I had it Saturday night and I am pretty sure it must
be somewhere between the truck and/or in the house. I always try to put it (as
well as other things) back into the same place it calls home, as I like being
able to find things in case of a power outage and the like. I am still looking.
I called the restraunt we were at Saturday night, called the police station and
called my bank. I am 90% sure it must be lost due to all the remodeling. Between
working on a project for the magazine today, I methodically started to go
through the house and looked in the last place I would look first... *sigh* I
will be really happy when the bathroom and kitchen are done. Yes, the kitchen is
next on the agenda.
It snowed last night, about 2 inches at most. It started about 2 am, when I got up to check on the pellet stove. We are so pathetically behind on snow and the temperatures are still warmer than average, although that is supposed to change next week.
The
tile for the bathroom floor has still not come in, but shower decking/walls and
faucets did. Bren was quite pleased with himself as his measurements were beyond
perfect and it fit like he had the deck here all the time. I had to 'prance'
around on it for a moment last night after we set it into place, for him to
crawl 'under' the backside of the wall to make sure it was sitting perfectly
level.
It is that time of year
again, the Gold Rush Trail Sled Dog Association is once
again selling the very special
envelopes
for being delivered by dog sled team.
We are the last of the mushers who run real mail by sled dogs. If you would like
to find out more, or order one of these valuable envelopes to mail to friends or
loved ones, check out the Mail Run website.
