ain! I have not been able to chop wood since my injury when I took 4 ribs off my spine and fractured the corresponding proximals just a little over 2 years ago. Since last April I have been able to start doing alot more chores every day as I regained muscle and strength. It still hurts to do things like leaning over a sink to do dishes and to sit too long at a desk at a time. But on the flip side I can carry 2 sacks of feed now, but that doesn't require leaning, just balance. With yesterday's chopping and rolling of icebergs however, all under my shoulder blades where the top rib was broken is inflamed and hurting clear across my back. It is kind of the question of whether to let it rest a day or to go out and re-stretch what I insulted yesterday. It is not the sharp pain which prevents me from breathing like it was daily for so long, more like maybe muscles I have not been on speaking terms with for a long time, so I may go out and finish that remaining 10 feet and wrestle a full size chest freezer.

It snowed a little last night, so I need to plow that out. I brought a short load of wood down last night to just get me through the evening and so this morning "Cyrus" and I need to bring down a couple dog sleds worth. It still has been a challenge to get my sled dogs out for a decent run. I think I have only about 12 miles on them all winter. I need that plus some each day. Like up to 25 miles a day.

Thank you guys for being patient on the magazine being late and all the back orders which have not been sent yet. I finally found my office yesterday afternoon and I can get to the magazines. When I got all my stuff moved here, it was pouring rain and all of us quickly stuffed everything into the office and spare room to prevent anything from becoming more wet than it was. It honestly was piled to the ceiling, I took pictures when it was all said and moved in, but I don't really want to show you as it was quite embarrassing. Yesterday was the first chance of being able to sort that mess out as other things had to take priority. Today and tomorrow I can devote completely to writing on the magazine. I hope to have it done in that time. So many people are emailing to say they are renewing. Just a reminder that online subscription is available again and the snail mail mailing address has changed.
