January 10, 2008 

very good dump of snow is coming down this morning. I will have to plow it out again this morning, the same as yesterday morning. I am so tickled as it is not a chore anymore. I cannot do it as well as a real snowplow, but it works good enough for being able to not have to shovel to get up the driveway. One day I will have to get a real snowplow of some kind, as I cannot get up to the woodshed nor push the snow up into the piles, but this allows me to get into my driveway to the house and free up time needed for other things instead of shoveling. 

Tonight for dinner I am having pork short ribs from this years pig. I make my own BBQ sauce for it, but I like mine better than commercial ones as I can make is adzactly how I want.

This morning, before work,  I am going to attempt to turn my dog boxes over with my truck so I can put the hardware necessary on it to be able to put onto my truck. I am so far behind on that project.

Afternoon Update:

I had an unscheduled  a day off from work. It was a slippery and slide-y type day and we agreed that it was not worth driving in for today, so the shoppe is closed. I got the driveway done, and got the dog box unstuck from the ground, got it turned sideways and failed to get it turned over. I am going to have to wait until I can get some more human muscle over here. I need it turned over to put all my hardware on it for my truck. The dog boxes are needed to be on, but other things took priority. I am 2 weeks behind on them.

The pork ribs are smelling good and it is a toss up to have oven fries or tabouli with them. I am also checking out a couple ice cream recipes to make a treat for tonight or tomorrow. I forgot to do laundry on Monday and so I am doing it right now as I am running out of jeans. They should be dry by morning hanging near the woodstove. It is bright and sunny here. A very nice afternoon. All this afternoon and evening are for writing. Yipppeee!!
