eeping
with my New Year's Resolutions, I did another little annoying project last night

which
has been put off for 3 years. You know the little projects which would take less
than 5 minutes and you never seem to get around to? This project cost me 75 cents with tax and about 1
minute of time to actually accomplish it, including taking the pictures. This is
the plug-in in the bathroom which never had a face cover. Just like the facade under the
kitchen sink,
it was another one of those projects that one tends to put off, but
"Why"? So this is one of my New Year's Resolutions. Once a week I am
going to pick one of these little put-off projects which is a no-brainer, a no-timer and get it
done. So if I keep up with it, I will have 52 little projects done during the
year. The weird thing with the sink thing is that every time I open and close
those doors so easily, it is like magic. Funny how the littlest things can
matter.
When I was feeding animals this morning, since I was in my snow suit which makes me look like a red Miss StayPuft Marshmellow Woman, I sat down on a snowbank and petted "Crystal" and "Blossom" to spend some quality time with them, since I felt like I have not seen them in awhile. "Blossom" towers over me now when I am sitting and she is so gentle. She rather liked it I was at belly scratching level. "Crystal" came over and was nose to nose with me as she was chewing her cud.
I
made a score the other day when I was at the store. There was a major
closeout and I got some Burt's Bee's shampoo, conditioner and bathsoap for about
30% of its normal cost. I don't usually buy soap, but I won't make any until
Spring when I have more time and I have a thing for peppermint soap anyway. When
I make soap, I usually make close to a 2 year supply of it. A friend is coming
up then and I know this person will want to get in on the fun. I don't know if I
need a 'color keeper' shampoo and conditioner, but they are quite lovely.
My other guests (not the family who helped with the dogboxes) who showed up the other day had seen my pathetic snow shovel on my blog and brought me one. Man, was I fooling myself with the old one. The new one is light and .... well... it shovels!! It goes through the snow like butter. After I return theirs, I will have to find and buy one just like it.
