othing too extraordinary happened today. Same old winter chores. Feed to the barns, courtesy of "Cyrus", wood down by the same kind fellow. Saw my horse, she is as fat as a pig. Put the goat and calf back in their pen as they did the job I was hoping they would in loosening the hay so I could get it easier. Checked the pumphouse and the heater is working better than expected and had to turn it to low & #2. It snowed and I plowed the driveway again. Worked on the magazine. I will never be so glad to get one of them done. But immediately I will be starting on the Spring issue. My frozen sinuses have turned into a cold which is now invading my chest. I am tired of coughing already. I keep poking at my nose to make sure it will stay on my face. I have seen plenty of earless cattle from our climate up here, I do not like my nose, but prefer to keep it on my face. A friend is a sculpture, so we determined if it did indeed fall off, that I could have many noses and be like Ms. Potato Head. A nose for every day of the week!
