 he piglets have settled in and are happy as.. well.. pigs! They like sleeping in late in the day. It is going on 10 am and they still have not woken up for the day. Maybe they were waiting for coffee in bed?

Between working, thunderstorms, writing and general everything else, I got 2 sections of fence done in the front pasture in the last few days after work. I think I will meet my goal of having it done by the weekend so I can kick animals out there. There needs some serious grazing done out there and I need to get the animals out of the yard before they start tromping about in my garden. I need to buy some more 6" spikes today and haul 16-18 more 20' poles out to the front to put up. There is a chainsaw available this weekend, to get the ends of the poles cut off, so it looks tidy. 

It poured and poured and poured and poured last night. It has rained so much, it is senseless to line dry the clothes outside, I have not been building a fire in the woodstove, so I have been using the dryer. My electric bill went up to $34 for the month. 

I went to bed about 10 pm and I slept until 9 am. I heard nothing except for when the kittens were hungry at 3 am and the occasional super-downpour. I am glad I have the kittens on somewhat of a schedule.
