 y plan is to have the magazine printed on the 22nd of June and in the mail soon after. A friend suggested to stop trying to play 'catch-up' and just print Summer 2008 issue. Everyone who got a subscription will still get their yearly amount of magazines, just moved up. I was just falling further and further behind trying to get the back issues done trying to accomplish everything. This way I will be ahead for the next issue out in September.

Those of you whom are familiar with "Down to the Roots" magazine will know that there are alot of projects in each magazine. Most of the projects I do here at the farm and show you how to do the same step-by-step. That is one of the reasons the magazines are so late. Between working 7 days a week at outside jobs to keep the farm, there has been little time for projects or writing. The other was there was snow here until about 5 weeks ago.. maybe 6 by now. Many of the projects are done outside and the weather was not very obliging to most of the projects. 

The magazines are also printed in my livingroom, hand collimated, hand stapled, hand folded and then hand packaged and hand labeled. Usually it is a one person show, though from time to time I have people that do help out. Even with 4-5 people, it can take multiple hours to get the magazines done.
