ots of rain last night. I have noted on my travels in the last week that
farmers and ranchers not much south from here, are moving and using irrigation
pipe on the hayfields already. It will take one more year to establish my
hayfields. Since they were only planted last summer, they need a two year span
to become established. This year I should fertilize the fields a couple weeks
before I turn the animals out on them.
Early this morning got some of my tomatoes and peppers out to the greenhouse, as well as some of my herbs. I also seeded a bunch of my annual flowers. By Sunday I should be able to start filling my raised beds out there as well. It is nice (in a way) to have my hands all stained with dirt again. I love this time of year.
