ast night, I had the first Trick-or-Treaters that I have had for years. I was surprised and they came while I was grabbing potatoes for last nights dinner. They stated I was fast in getting to the door, but I told them I had seen them coming. They then said the customary phrase "Trick or Treat" and I asked them if they wanted the potatoes which were in my hand. One boy who was dressed as an Ghoulie or something looked at me in horror... I teased "But they are nice organic red ones!". The other boy just whispered to his friend, "Just say yes and take them". I smiled and then handed them their chocolate bars which had been lurking in a box just out of sight. He-he-he.

Hay hauling today since I have the trailer. It is really nice hay, no rain.

I have my winter tires on now and it was the last round for my summer tires, which is not too bad for 4 years, especially with as many miles as I drove this last year . I was going to take them to make them into a project, but in talking to the head of the tire shop, I found out what they do with the dead tires. They recycle them to a company which shreds them up and they become part of the road materials mixed in with the asphalt. I was rather happy that they recycle them. I got to gabbing with him about what projects I wanted to do with them. He was excited about it as I handed him a magazine to show him what kinds of projects I get into and he suggested a couple different tires types than the ones I was thinking about. He said he will hold a couple aside for me when they come in. If you are getting new tires, ask what they do with the old ones and make sure they get recycled.
