woke up to snow coming down this morning, although I did not realize the white on my vehicle was actually snow at the time, as I thought it was just heavy frost although it did not feel that cold.  Then when it was light I saw it was indeed fine snow coming down. So it has been snowing for at least 6 hours now. I am glad, it is overdue and I am ready for it now. This photo was taken this morning in the new 'front yard' at the place I am staying at for the winter. I am planning on putting raised beds in this area next spring.

It was my day off today. I kinda get one a week now. Today I am partly working on the magazine, partly cleaning the house after there were a bunch of guys here for the weekend and partly relaxing as I can feel I am getting a nasty cold. It feels like an elephant is sitting on my chest. We went to friends for dinner late last night as it was a brutal day getting the paper out. It was pretty much 5 hours late and I worked forever getting it finally sent (sometimes no matter what you do you cannot hurry it along) and I am so glad she made hot spicy East Indian food. I think it must be like Mexican foods to me (the real stuff) and have cold/flu busting properties to them.

The "N" key on my computer is sticking/not working and it is most annoying. So if you see any missing letters in these last few posts, it is probably the 'n'.

Evening Update:

We are watching the U.S. election and celebrating the birthday of a good friend. I offered to make him his birthday dinner and he liked the Cornish Game hens so much he asked specially for them. I am not sure if they cannot get them in Denmark or not. Fresh asparagus, wild rice and birthday cake is rounding out the meal. Lasse is only here for a 6 month work visa and he hangs around with us alot. I hope he comes back to visit as he is very delightful. If all Danish people are like this, they are a very lovely people.

Happy 22nd Birthday to a G-R-E-A-T Dane!!!! !!!
