esterday
Bren wouldn't allow me to do anything but rest. I told him I had too much to do
and
he told me to sit down for a little bit, so I ended up sleeping in a chair for 4
hours. Saturday my
computer pretty much died and Bren updated it, fixed it and did all this other
technical stuff to it so it was be to run again!!
Today though, WE have too much work to do. Pull out his winter tires, fix the weather station and get it installed before it gets broken, haul a load of debris to the dump, have him put up a couple boards for a large shelf, and get more done on the magazine. The 'office' is still not yet put together, so it is a pain to do anything in there. But after Wednesday, I have TIME!!! Then I can find my copies of magazines past and get the printed off, although I shall have to take them somewhere that there is more room (like the library) so I can put them together.
Evening Update:
Worked on the magazine for a bit this morning, then worked on outdoor stuff until it was dark. We needed to utilize the daylight while we can. The winter tires are out of the shop and into the back of his vehicle so they can be put on Wednesday or Thursday. Last week he was stranded one day, due to not having them on.
I recycled a pair of discarded 'oak' table legs into hangers for all my soaker hoses. They have been laying on the ground in a pile for weeks, but now they are all orderly against the shop wall.
A truckload of debris from remodeling this house and some odds and ends were hauled to the landfill to be put into the various scrap piles. A couple items to the share shed. I still need to work on the guys to reduce the garbage amounts around here. I went from one small garbage bag every 3 weeks at my farm to almost one a day here. That needs to change!! I am setting up a recycling system here and teach them how to pre-cycle. I should be able to have a compost bin here as I am pretty sure there is no worries about bear problems, like I would have at the farm.
The shop was cleaned out by Bren while I was hanging the soaker hoses and he pulled out the snow blower which he has never used yet (a present from his boss a couple years ago) and worked on the quad to put a snowblade on it which a friend found for me and bought for $30 at a garage sale. There is enough room in the shop now to put items which had been lurking about the yard away properly.
Kept running into the house to rotate laundry in 'breather' spaces.
Pork for dinner again and I need to toss that in soon.
Back to work on the magazine tonight.
