he bathroom/laundry rooms are coming along. I ordered the tiles for the bath, walls and shower after Bren and I chose them. They are ordered from two different places, so they are coming in at different times, but Bren did not seem too flustered over that. He stills plans on having it all done by Christmas. We shall see, he used to be a contractor, and aren't they notoriously always off on their time schedual? *hehe* He has been wanting to remodel this house for a couple years now and just got to it. He said I was a good excuse. 

Let there be H-E-A-T!!! The pellet stove came back all repaired and the fire extinguisher goo removed out of it. It is nice to have that part of the house taken care of and done again. And no mom, the stove and the house were not on fire.. (well technically the pellet stove was, but no more than it ought to have been). The smoke was coming out the front vent and coming into the house instead of going up the pipe so the fire needed to be put out.. in a hurry!

I grilled the repair guys on how to run and maintain the thing, so all ought to be good from here on out. (P.S. I still will be delighted when I get a woodstove again! But I am thankful for the heat the pellet stove does provide, even though I cannot cook on it).

A friend called me last night to tell me that I am in yet another magazine. One I have not heard of before, but apparently it has my pictures and an article in it. I will let you know more when I find out more.

A new friend sent me her blog from Oregon. I have 2 friends named Cat.. (the other is Kat), and this is the southerly one's. Enjoy.
