he other thing we did last weekend was purchase the winter supply of pellets for the pellet stove. Not nearly as expensive as I thought it was going to be. It will be interesting to see how well it does over the winter months as I am not used to one yet. I know I will miss having a woodstove as I am already mourning the loss of not being able to cook on my heat source. When we bought the pellets though, I was checking out the brand new woodstoves. All pretty, shiny and new, with designer colours. Something to think about before next year. In the meantime, it will be interesting to work with one.

I started my new job. It is interesting as I like to learn new things and it is something much different than I have ever done before. I think I shall enjoy learning what they have to offer me. I get ALOT of glue on me. You guys also get to benefit from my new work, as what I am doing is something each one of you use almost every day, so of course it will end up in the magazine for a project for you to do at home. I am used to working straight through my workday for years, so with three breaks a day, I have started to take my knitting. I am working on socks again. I have not been able to pick up my knitting needles for over a year now.

Windy around these days. It has not frozen for a couple of days. Close, but not having to scrape ice off the vehicle window for a few days.
