ent to a friend's friends quilting shop today and her shoppe is so nice. The colours are just amazing as I walked in. Quilts are hanging all over the walls. And the detail to them are marvelous.

It is such a nice shop, that I loitered in there and talked longer than I probably ought to have. But after I got most of everything I needed from them for an article, I got to asking questions and jabbering per the norm.

Conversation was interrupted a few times as customers kept coming in, but I learned alot about quilts in a very short time there. I may one day just have to take a class.

Pictures Above: One of the huge quilts made by the owners of the quilting shoppe. This particular quilt won awards. I really love the very detailed stitches.

Tonight I am meeting with the local Agricultural guy and the lady who is the head of the Ministry of Ag for BC at her house. We are planting heirloom seeds out of my seed bag for a fundraiser in April. I had a few varieties which I had an insane amount of seed for, so I volunteered to donate them for this project.

It is -18C/0.4F out.

Evening Update:

Tonight I went to our seed planting party for a fundraiser we are holding here fairly soon, and we planted 300 peat pots tonight and will about the same tomorrow night as well. It went pretty darn fast with all of us planting tomatoes, lettuce, peppers and flowers for the sale. We had a lovely vegan dinner which was quite filling (although I avoided the beans) and then we flopped out on the floor talking agriculture.

While I was there, the homeowner got a phone call from someone she had never met and then she turned over the phone to me as it was someone she thought I knew. Mystified, as no one actually knew where I was, it turned out to be a new friend who called the home owner about something else (and she did not know I was there) and then I told K that this was the group I wanted to get her involved with. It was just all very strange. But this is how this group is working, everything is coming together in odd and marvelous ways. It is going to be something very special. We can all feel it.
