nother goal accomplished. "City Boy" and I got all of the magazines together and ready to send out. I have been going at collimating them solo, but 'City Boy' broke his big toe, so I whisked him away to help with the bribery of breakfast out and mass amounts of coffee. Feels good to get that one done and I am working on the next.

Tonight for dinner was one of the recipes out of the magazine, as continuing to look at the recipe over and over again while we were compiling them tempted my tastebuds. It is one of my favorite meals. All that was lacking was fresh bread which I did not have time to make tonight.

My first batch of seeds are sprouting left and right. My leeks and onions never disappoint as they come up quickly. However, my 'Rosita' eggplants did surprise me today. This morning I failed to turn on their light in my haste of getting out the door, and this afternoon, I plugged the lights in, gave them water and went to check a couple hours later and this is what I found! Amazing how fast they grow up!

The pellet stove is having issues again, so I am typing this while under a wool blanket. I cannot wait to get back to a woodstove. When the pellet stove works, it works, when it doesn't, it gets rather cold-ish.
