I put an offer in on the century old house today. It is truly a lovely home with a bit of TLC, new carpets and a bit of paint, a new roof (and a skunk removal). Over time I will need to re-do this and that, but nothing that cannot wait.

I was surprised by my family and DTTR online community yesterday. They threw me and SweetPea a baby shower. Half of it was at home and half of it was a virtual on-line one. We had three computers going and presents had been sent through the mail and then hidden. Everyone had cookies and something to drink (and the occasional running out to the barn to check on animals or to change laundry etc).

I found out that they had been planning this since last June and I kept messing them up with all my traveling back and forth and my SCA events. Sorry guys! But it was good to have it after SweetPea was here too, so she could be part of it and we knew who she was, since I did not know what gender she was until she was born.
