I have to admit, I got sucked into the "Twilight" Saga all due to my 'little sister' Ashley (whom I miss very much in person, but get to see/talk to on video call). The newest installment of the second movie of the four, comes out today. From what I have seen, "New Moon", looks pretty darn good. I have chosen not to read the books yet, as I want to be surprised when I watch the movie/s.

It all started when Ash traveled and lived in the tent with me a time or two when I had to travel for my special prenatal doctor appointments in Vancouver, BC. We took books to read until it was too dark with natural light, so we also took video's to pass the time in the evenings which we watched on my laptop. Once we stayed there in the campground for four days, so we needed some entertainment (and one night we treated ourselves to Chinese fried rice and a chicken dish).

One of the video's Ashley brought was the first "Twilight" movie. It was pretty awesome to be watching it outside in our sleeping bags. I read an article in the newspaper recently about how all these school age girls are getting their mothers and teachers into reading the "Twilight" books. I had to laugh as it was the same with me. I would probably be unaware the books or the movie/s existed if it had not been for Ashley. The new movie comes out today and I would love to go see it, but with SweetPea, I will be waiting for it to come out on video. Thanks Ash!

If you have a little bit of time, donate it to a kid such as with Big Brothers/Big Sisters which is in Canada and the United States. You will get as much out of the program as the kids do. Although I have moved far away, Ashley is my 'little sister' for life. I hear alot of other "Big Siblings" say this is true with their "little siblings" as well.

(And "J" I know you read this blog every now and again.. I am glad you are OK for the most part. Thinking of ya!)
