 I have not been able to post blogs as there is some issue with my ftp to upload the blog to the net. It will work anywhere but here at home. I went to my friend's home to get it fixed and it worked there without him touching it, and then came back home and it doesn't work again. I will have to upload it at their house on Friday.

Yesterday I went on my first long walk. SweetPea and "Cyrus" enjoyed the outing as well. I overdressed all of us as it has been very windy. By the time we had walked 5 minutes I was shedding clothing. I overdid it though as today I am really sore on the right side of my incision line and will not be able to go walking for a couple days I think.

Last night with SweetPea sleeping on my lap, I started on another project for the magazine. I am making a paper template for it currently and then make the real one from wood. Here is a sneak peak. Rather looks like a wheel for a clothesline, but it isn't. There are many many uses for this gadget though. Stay tuned.

Last night I got a phone call from my longtime friend whom I have known since I was 9. She is coming in by airplane tomorrow to come stay with me for a bit. We met at a remote lake in Canada long, long ago and we became pen pals (when people actually wrote, stamped and mailed letters) for 20-some years. Then finally we were able to meet again in person, and now we see each other as often as we can.

SweetPea also went to the midwife today to get her every 2 weeks weigh in to send to her doctors up north via email. She has regained all of her birth weight and is now 8 pounds, 2 1/2 ounces. Due to problems she had when she was born, she had lost 10% of her body weight. I really like the midwife and she will be my 'doctor' as well down here. I really liked how she was very  thorough in her exam of the baby and how our appointment was an hour, which is standard at her office, instead of 10 minutes or less at most doctors offices down here.
