Today I met up with Angelia as she drove up to see me and we attended the "St. Joseph Grape Stomp" which is one of the many wineries here in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. I was glad to see her again and sad her leg still hurts her.
We had fun at the event, ate a
fruit plate for lunch and I gave away all my wine sample tokens since I am
pregnant (and I do not drink anyway), so I made 4 people happy with an
unexpected present. There were many Bavarian styled dressed people there. A couple
people I know from Canada are from Bavaria and I actually like their leather
trousers they make and wear, but the ambience of people dressing up for this
event was nice.

after having enjoyed a glass of white wine and sharing a plate of fruit, cheese
and baguette with me. I had water out of my glass!!

grape stomping vat at Saint Joseph's Winery. I wanted to go in, but it was by
'lottery' and there was a lot of yellow jackets, so I did not want to push my
luck. I already had one on me and I am very sensitive to their stings. Dad would
not let us kids stomp the grapes by our feet at our winery. Reason unknown other than we would
have had to have done it in the plastic primary fermentors.

Then since the Oregon Flock & Fiber Festival was still going on, we moseyed on over to the fairgrounds since Angelia did not get to attend yesterday. Yesterday there was a madhouse there, it was like the county fair itself was happening. Our first stop was to go look at the rabbits and then to go see the main pavilion and center areas which B and me skipped seeing yesterday.

some pretty coloured wool to play with too!)

All too quickly she had to head home to go feed her horses. Hopefully I will get to see her again soon. Angelia brought up her copy of FrontPage so I can once again start blogging normally! THANK YOU!!!
