On the road again.... Again! The fall colours are showing on the trees and I even made it into snow flurries coming down for some miles when I took the Sea to Sky Highway near Joffery lakes. I saw a young bear stuffing his face like it was Thanksgiving Dinner on the way today. I also stopped by where the spawning salmon had been and was surprised there were even more of them than before. A tour bus even had stopped to see them. The film crew was still filming a movie, but in a different location up there.

Photo Above: Me at 36 weeks pregnant (there is not alot of time left to go before baby is here). I am glad I still have some curves left, although my face and feet have swollen up a bit (ok, alot) and are puffy. And yes, I am tired, I just had woken up, had been driving 9 hours a day for 2 days when it had been taken. But I finally had someone to take a picture of me before I jumped into the shower. My face was back to normal about an hour after I woke up and was walking around.

On the way up, I had a rather large rock get thrown at me so I am shopping for a new windshield. I emailed mom for a quote from the States as even with insurance up here, I think my last windshield cost $225CA. There is no choice in not replacing this one as when the rock hit, it threw glass at me, so it is more than just a rock chip. .

Photo Above: A fist sized rock chip I received in my windshield today from a vehicle heading the opposite way. Note some of the glass I couldn't remove with just water and napkins. I will have to find a vacuum somewhere.

I am staying at the 'hostel' tonight as it is supposed to get down to -1C here tonight. I will be camping it tomorrow night, but it will be considerably warmer southernly. It is supposed to rain tonight, so I hope the windshield does not start leaking. And if it gets cold, it doesn't spider across the glass even more (UPDATE: It did and was all up and down and over the windshield).

I pack as if I will be staying each trip now in case my doctors ban me from driving. I have some fun things for me to do, like my knitting, new DVD's I have not seen before, books. And I have been playing with a movie maker on the computer and updating my blogs so I can update everything on the website as soon as I can get it online. Alas, there is no internet where I stay at.
