7th February 2010
we, SweetPea and I,  took a few minutes here and there while getting the office in order and breaking down cardboard for a trip to the recyclers, to go check out the garden areas and the flowerbeds.

My friend "B" came over to spend some time with me and work on some of her projects, and ended up spending the night here. She is teaching a dyeing class on Monday night for some folk and I want to pop in on her class. But we make 40 skeins each of linen, wool and silk for the class for people to dye. It will be fun and I am sure I will learn something from her.

I am winning on the office and I could actually get to the closet by late last night. Progress was slightly hampered as I came across something I thought my friend may have an interest in and so of course had to show her.

This evening SweetPea and I attended the local sustainable agriculture group potluck and meeting. I made a soup to take as it just seemed like a soup kind of day. I do not like eating alone so it was nice eating in a community. I really like the group and have joined as a member. Wednesday I am working on a project with them to salvage some plants from a farm which is bring turned into a housing project and on the weekend will go help in a local community garden.
