Finished pounding nails into the subflooring. Went through 5 boxes of ring shank nails. Did the kitchen, pantry, bathroom and mudroom. It will make for a fresh clean base to lay the linoleum on. I need to get one more sheet of 1/4" ply to lay on the mudroom floor. We miscalculated and had too much for the rest of the house, so with what was left from the other areas, I decided to do the mudroom/laundry and buy one more sheet. It will be worth it.

Started to do some cleanup and take the faceplates off light switches etc to get ready to start painting soon. Finally remembered to call the floor guy and told him that tile for around the woodstove is perfect. It is extra from jobs he has had and can't use for a full job, so he is giving them to me. I was going to put the tile down, but he said he would do it, so with the other little things I need to get done (patch a couple walls where the lathe and plaster need TLC) , vacuum, clean and paint, he can do it.
