Had to do some errands today so didn't work alot of time on the house, but did accomplish a few things.

Yesterday, "R" and I got the stops back on the bathroom pipes for the tub, sink and toilet. There was hideous examples of stops on there previously, I have no idea how many years. As the pipe was below floor level with the new additions of the plywood and the linoleum, "R" had to grab the end of the pipe with a pair of pliers as I used a screwdriver to catch the threads and lever it up. We were afraid I was going to end up under the house to jostle the pipes up through the floor. There is not alot of crawl space and I have a few baby pounds to lose yet to get back to normal.

"R" and his golfing partner "J", re-installed the clawfoot tub while I was out running errands. It is coming together and on the phone "R" said something was weird with the tank of the toilet that I have to deal with, but as to yet, I am not sure what it is.

I think the tub came out pretty good, although I could have picked a slightly less dark green. But it is better than the orange it was.

My main job of the day while I was there, was to put up sheetrock in the guest room. Around the door and the brick for the chimney it was lacking sheetrock or plaster over the lathe. I decided to let the brick show and do the rest. I wanted to get all the sheetrocking done, so I can start to paint my room and this room tomorrow. It took me awhile to sheetrock it though as I had to chip all the remaining plaster away from the left side of the door to let the sheetrock lay correctly. After the rooms are painted, I shall add trim around the door and ceiling.
