 inally got to run my dogs yesterday. I think it had been almost a week? We had alot of snows and the guys cut trails for us with the snowmachines in our back 40. I finally got to go about 10 miles with them this season. The snows are deep enough I can use the dogs for chores now.

Got primer for the new pumphouse and I painted it today down at the mechanics shop. It is nice and heated in there. 

We had a Plymouth Barred Rock rooster get frostbite on his comb. It is a common occurrence up here, but I thought we were doing Ok, since they are in technically an insulated barn. He may lose part of it. This is why we try to have close combed breeds here.
