ainted
on the pump house today again and got it all painted. It looks pretty good and
it will eventually be sided with the same siding we will cut from our pine for
the house. We have to yet pour a concrete foundation for the pump house and then
it will be slid off the trailer and onto the concrete. It was built on the
trailer for easy moving. No, in the picture, it is not finished being painted. I
just took a picture while I was taking a lunch break with some apple juice and
Cornish Pasties.
After
the pump house is moved it will be slid off the trailer and have insulation put
into the walls and ceiling.
Light snow is happening again. But we have close to 28" accumulation in spots. The kids are sure we will have 5 feet of snow or better this year. I was looking at fencelines and wondering if only 2 stands are showing if we have to shovel out fences. There are only 3 strands of 5 stand fences showing now.
Tomorrow night I am starting the Weekly Live Chat again. Meet us here (see live chat link at left) to talk to other homesteaders. We only hold this live chat during the winter months as most people are too busy the rest of the year, so take advantage of this DTTR feature. Sometimes we hold impromptu classes.
