raveled
to WD's house to try to get files out my dead computer. Stayed the day at her
house. Finally bought a tackle box and updated supplies for our house first aid
kit. Now everything is in one place. FINALLY decided to do it after
"Teenager" lacerated his hand. Previously I had been using the animal
first aid kit, the bathroom cabinet, my dresser drawer, 2 laundry baskets and a
cardboard box after my original kits had been presumably stolen. I still want
more room in the tackle box, but for an emergency kit, it will suffice to stop
bleeding.
A friend referred a man to me via phone and this guy called me. He is also an
immigrant to Canada and new here and no friends yet. His gf works for my friend.
We were comparing notes on what we liked up here as well as the things that were
strange to us. I am pretty excited as he is a wildlife biologist and he mainly
studies bears. He is highly interested in our bear den and asked if I had been
in it. I told him I was not that crazy, but feel free to check it out. He was in
awe and very excited about it. From my description of it, he thinks it is a
neo-natal den. I told him to come look at it and when he said he was going to
crawl down into it, I told him I would stay up top and he could yell up to me
*G*. But I have a hiking partner again.. so I am pretty excited about that as
well as someone I can learn from. I told him about my butterfly biologist friend
and he was pretty excited to be able to meet him.
