9:30 am Cougar hunter is here with his daughter, 4
cougarhounds and a snowmobile. "Teenager" took them to the back of our property
and the crossed the fences onto Crown Land. The man told "Teenager" that we had a whole schwack of Lynx here. We knew we had at least
one, but not a whole schwack *S*. "Teenager" is back in the house, but the hunters are still out there. I feel bad about the potential
killing of the cougar, but they have been rather dangerous this year and this one is quite large.
Afternoon update: The cougar hunter said the cougar is a female and she has a kitten with her. They are just killing and eating deer and are heading south away from us. Since they are not a problem and are feeding on the acceptable species for cougars to eat, he will leave them alone. He will track them again tomorrow from the other side of the mountain and see where they are heading to keep an eye on them. I am glad they do not have to be killed.
Evening update: Knitting socks and actually watching TV for once. Mad at my sock. It is seemingly going slower than normal. I just want to get it done so I can get my bf's mom's other sock done. I had a headache all day and pretty much slacked all day than do a bit of housework. I am currently baking potato-onion bread.
