ouse-sitting. It was the perfect gig. The family
is around 80% organic and they have a root cellar and cool room. I think I have not had so many carrots for so long. They had carrots I
was envious of. I got another couple socks done while I was there I am never recall watching so much TV in my life. However they have
channels that I do not have , like the home and garden network, so I watched a bunch of house remodeling stuff. They also have a
greenhouse and strawberry house which were pretty cool and I think I may modify their style to fit my needs here. I did have a headache
for 8 days straight as the house is right on the river and the air quality from the lumber/pulp mills was atrocious.
At 11 pm on the 23rd, my friend "S" 's mom called and said
"S" was on the way to the hospital and to meet "S" and her hubby there. I was
honored and got to witness Zander come into the world as I was on S's birthing crew. She says I am calm, cool and collect and she
wanted me to be there. It was a wonderful experience and "S" made it look natural and easy in having him though he was 8lbs 9 oz without
any drugs or gas of any kind in less than 4 hours after she thought she may have started labour. Her hubby had to go back home, so I
stayed the night with her in the delivery room where she was allowed to stay. I gave her a hand and foot massage with my special massage
oil blend. Zander is pretty nifty. I have a thing for his
ears and his
monkey toes. His mom calls him 'porkchop'.
This picture is about 15 minutes after he was born so it is after 1am.
With 40-some minutes of sleep, I went to my appointment for the printing press loan. "S" said she tried to work around my schedual.Darned if she
didn't. So I got my loan for the printing press, but
then the guy who had to co-sign the check, will not be in until Tuesday. I laughed and said "of
Course".. the guy I am dealing with
knows of my computer woes and HIGHLY apologized. My computer STILL is not here, but evidently it isnow in Canada.
Tuesday I may have it *sigh*

I
am glad to come home as the homeowners I was sitting for
came home. I slept 12 hours straight in my own bed!!! I never sleep that long. BreakUp happened and my honey is now off work for a few
months. He is so tired.. when he got the news though, he did his funny little dance across the livingroom and then turned in his
logging truck to his dad that night *hehehehehe*
