pinning
wheel lessons today. A reader of the magazine does not live far from here and
her magazine was lost in the mail. How.. no one knows, but it must have been
Fate. It was very nice to meet Chris at the local library and give her a quick
spinning 'lesson'. Her poor wheel was just barely hanging together. It was all
there and a very nice Ashford, but no one had tightened up any of the bolts in
years. Since we did not have a Allen wrench or the like with us, she literally
had to hold the wood pieces together so I could show her how to oil and use her
wheel. It did fall apart once. She would like to meet up again. She asked
if I had real classes for spinning wheels, I told her I have not yet to date,
but we could get together with her and some other friends and have a spinning
and tea party. She gave me a bottle of homemade wine as a thank you. It has
marvelous colour to it.

This is my Ashford wheel at home.
I got another whole lot of "Down to the Roots" magazines sent out. About another 17 people have subscribed in the last 2 days. Alot of them double subscriptions so they can get the back issues as well. The original website and email system is down again, and we are in the middle of changing servers on that. So please in the meantime, come to this website and tell others about us as this website at dot.com is new.
