ouse cleaning day. The boys were out of school due to the holiday and it snowed most of the night and we could not go anywhere, so we had a Fall Cleaning Day. Yes, we do quarterly deep housecleaning. Between all of us, we had the equivalent of 17 hours of housework done by late afternoon. The house is under control again. Yipppee!

While I was doing the master bedroom (such as it is), I pulled everything out of the armoire tossed it onto the bed (see picture above), and bagged the summer clothes to put into the basement to have more room for the winter clothing. We do not have any closets in this cabin at all, so space is at a premium.

I have a huge lot of clothes to go through one of these days and my plan is to have a clothes exchanging party and dinner one winter evening and have a 'swap meet' and all leftover clothing to go to a good cause such as a women's shelter.

By 1 pm, I got a call from my boyfriend who said it was OK to finally drive on the roads and hurry and go do my friends chores for her while she is gone on a trip to see her family down south. So that is what I am heading out to do now with "Kid". Last night on our way there, we saw so much wildlife.
