t
snowed all day. I had to sweep off the porch 3 times. It is not really a
hardship as if you do not step on it.. it is like sugar to push it off. I have
not gone out to enjoy the new powder yet. I got into some sausage yesterday
morning which must have been high in nitrates or something and I am going on my
34th hour of having 'those poison headaches. It is fading but still there. From
past mistakes, I know it can be up to 48 hours that I will have it. It is not a
'normal' headache or migraine, it is very distinct.
Caught up on laundry and a few other things from the last power outage.
Dinner
tonight was almost 100% grown by us. It is so satisfying to know you grew all of
the products for the meal. I had milk which was storebought, but one day we will
be getting it from "Daisy".
Tonight was porkroast with potatoes and onions and salad.
It is getting cold out. This morning was -15C outside and I did have to put on gloves to pitch hay to the cattle. It is supposed to be -23C for a high by Sunday.
In the snail mail I am getting interesting things now for the magazine. Today the magazine was invited to go to the 2007 American Kiko Goat Association Field Day in Oklahoma this next June for 2 days. Just for kicks I ought to go. I know someone in Oklahoma I could probably stay with. A few weeks ago I was asked if I would review a book on soapmaking a man wrote. He is supposed to be sending it, but I have not seen the book yet. I ought to email him back to make sure it was not lost in the mail system somewhere.
